Only minor changes are in store for the Miata this year. Base models receive standard 16-inch alloy wheels, a strut-tower brace, larger brakes and a child seat anchoring system. Cloth replaces vinyl on the top of the LS model, and tan leather gives way to a lighter parchment-colored hide. Also, the LS receives aluminum-colored interior trim and, for the first time, black leather is available as an option. New options include a cargo net, an auto-dimming mirror with an integrated compass and outside temperature display and special bezels for the headlights and taillights.

• Tremendous fun to drive, excellent steering and handling, glass rear window with defogger.

• Small trunk, drones during freeway trips, tight cabin.

  I was looking for a used car for about a month, and I was testing different asian sedans, then (for fun) i tested an 2001 red miata. I bought it. Screw a back seat for the kids, thats what the mini van is for. ive had it for two summers and it still gets me going.

  I have exprience nothing but fun and reliable car for being a sports car. I owned a 96 miata trade in for 2002 turbo bug. Kept the bug less then two years trade for shisen 2003. i just love the way the miata handles when driving.

  Ive had this car for less than two weeks and over 1,000 miles on it. I bought the LS 6-spd Garnet Red Mica with Parch Parchment leather and cloth top. Its so impractical and so much fun!

  Absolutley a fabulous little car. This is my second one purchased, and I will always love it. Handles great, looks great, and in 3 years of previously owning one I NEVER had one single issue or problem with anything. Very stable, well made, and a great value.

  i really love this car. the new body looks great and it runs great in the city or on hwy trips. yes, its my car of chose for long road trips. the only trouble iv had is a recall on the clutch that was replaced under warrantt because it was chaffing. i only wish that the re-sale value was better. i wanted to buy a new 2002 special edition mx-5 and the dealer would only give me 15K for my car that was 22K less than a year ago!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Everyone calls my miata the "Nat One" because my name is Nat and my miata is my "baby". It is silver with a black top and interior. I added black leather seats with silver inserts, a chrome fuel door and a chrome style bar so far. There are many more mods I have planned for her. If youre thinking about buying a miata, stop thinking and do it!! The handling is on par with $40- $60k sports cars and the overall performance is great. Everyone loves the design, it is beautiful. For you guys, its a chick magnet to boot. All the guys I know ask to borrow it because CHICKS LOVE THIS CAR! In short, I love my miata and im keeping it forever!

  This car is the most fun I have had behind the wheel in my life. Very responsive, fun to drive, economical also. I wish I would have bought one a long time ago instead of waiting till my 58 birthday.
